For $7.50 for adults and $5 for children (12 and under) attendees will get the chance to sample the many different types of chili and vote on a favorite. Sampling will run from 12 to 2 p.m. and at 2:30 p.m. a winner will be announced.
During and following thechili cook off until 4 p.m., the Brew Tent in Town Square will be open and feature draft beer from Pacifico, NegraModelo Draft and Sierra Nevada. Enjoy your chili and beer to live music by The Uncle Steve Band.
While the adults enjoy themselves, the kids will have a chance be part of the fourth White Mountain Storytelling Festival. From Friday September 26 to Sunday the 28 the festival will provide stories for people of every age. Make sure you see featured storyteller, musician and author, Odds Bodkins, who Billboard called, “a modern-day Orpheus.”
