Tourists can enjoy a refreshing and immersive experience on our upgraded open-top bus fleet in conjunction with our new mobile application ‘HK Sightseeing’ delivering an unrivalled experience and story about Hong Kong. Leveraging on our unique advantage as the only hop-on hop-off open-top bus tour operator, with an extensive bus network covering the main boundary control points along with the airport and all the major tourist attractions in Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, we are proud to also introduce our new sightseeing passes under the new brand of ‘Citybus+’.
The innovative ‘Citybus+’ range of sightseeing passes is the ‘connector’ to multiple boundary control points, the airport and extending across the whole city was part of our extensive bus network. With these special bundle offerings, tourists can now enjoy unlimited rides on our bus network, including the exclusive hop-on-hop-off experience of our ‘HK City Sightseeing’ open-top buses, which now offer departures of up to every 8-minutes to all key tourist attractions in Hong Kong along with connections to retail outlets and Hong Kongs incredible array of food and beverage options both day and night. We have made a substantive investment of over HKD $30 million to expand and upgrade our open-top sightseeing bus product and to develop a dedicated and comprehensive user-friendly mobile application, ‘HK Sightseeing,’ using cutting edge technologies and providing unique experiences and tours along with special offers to all travellers.
This morning, a grand launching ceremony was held at the iconic Tsim Sha Tsui promenade, a premier tourism hotspot in Hong Kong. Officiated by Mr Kevin YEUNG Yun-hung, GBS, JP, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Hong Kong SAR Government, Hon YIU Pak-leung, MH, JP, Legislative Council Member of the Functional Constituency – Tourism along with a number of other special guests from government and industry, we all together celebrated the inauguration of this new tourism product and a proud brand of Hong Kong, heralding the dawn of a new and revitalized chapter for the tourism industry.

The new ‘Citybus+ Explorer’ is the best choice for city walks and exploration. It provides unlimited rides across our entire Urban and New Territories bus network, as well as all of our HK City Sightseeing routes. This flexible ticket is available only at HK$320 and valid for 48 hours.
The newly unveiled ‘HK City Sightseeing’ open-top bus is a key product promoting cultural experiences in Hong Kong.
