Kate Van Zile, of Van Zile Travel, has been awarded the Event Chairman of Excellence Award by the Young President's Organization (YPO).

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED STATES – 10th March 2010 - On Thursday, March 4, 2010, Kate Van Zile, was presented the Event Chairman of Excellence award for her work with the Young Presidents Organization’s (YPO) College Prep Weekend last fall. This was in recognition of her vision, leadership, and personal commitment to creating extraordinary new experiences for fellow members to learn and grow.

Simon Preston, Chairman of the YPO International Board of Directors, praised Van Zile, saying her “personal contribution of energy and time created a special experience and deep learning opportunity” for all who attended the event. Attendees traveled from across the US, Guatemala, Brazil, Peru, Spain, and Greece to attend this International event.
