(February 23rd, 2026) – The Westin Tampa Bay has officially completed a multi-million dollar, full-property transformation, reimagining every guest touchpoint across the hotel, from serene guest rooms and wellness-focused amenities to modernized meeting spaces, refreshed wedding venues, a brand new restaurant concept, and an upcoming new resort-style pool experience.
The redesigned guest rooms now feature a refined coastal aesthetic inspired by the natural beauty of Tampa Bay. Light, airy color palettes and modern textures set a calming tone, while floor-to-ceiling windows highlight sweeping bay views. Upgraded furnishings, luxury bedding, and smart in-room technology, including energy-efficient systems that adjust temperature and drapes when unoccupied, deliver both comfort and sustainability.
Beyond the guest rooms, enhancements extended throughout the property. The hotel’s expansive 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space received modern finishes, improved layouts to support conferences, social events, and gatherings of all sizes. Dedicated wedding venues were also elevated, offering refreshed indoor and outdoor settings designed to maintain timeless appeal.
General Manager, Lukasz Chrzastek, has been overseeing the property transition. Renovations included the opening of a new on-site restaurant, Palmette Brasserie and Bar, designed to reflect the flavors and energy of Tampa Bay. The space offers bold island-inspired dishes, familiar modern favorites, and a seamless indoor-outdoor dining experience with panoramic views of the bay.
