Clearwater Beach Marriott Resort on Sand Key Announces Easter Fun for the Entire Family
The Easter Bunny, an Easter Egg Hunt, Outdoor Games, Easter Egg Painting and Mosaics, and a Chef-Crafted Holiday Menu Pack in the Fun
CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla. (March 20th, 2026) – Clearwater Beach Marriott Resort on Sand Key will mark Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, with a full day of family festivities and an elevated holiday dining experience at its acclaimed restaurant Watercolour Grillhouse. From a morning visit with the Easter Bunny and egg hunt to an evening of indulgent seasonal fare, the resort is offering guests and families an all-encompassing Easter celebration set against the backdrop of the bay.
The celebration begins in the morning with a special visit from the Easter Bunny himself, giving guests the chance to meet, take photos, and share in the magic before the main festivities get underway.
The fun continues at 11:00 a.m. with an Easter Egg Hunt that sets the tone for the entire day. Children dash across the resort grounds in search of hidden eggs, building anticipation and excitement that carries through the afternoon’s full lineup of activities.
From there, the energy shifts to something more creative. At noon, guests gather for Easter Egg Rock Painting; a hands-on activity that invites the whole family to slow down, pick up a brush, and craft a colorful keepsake to bring home. By 1:00 p.m., the competitive spirit returns in full force with Minute to Win It Challenges. The 3:00 p.m. hour offers guests a choice of two activities running side by side. Those drawn to the outdoors can head to the Easter Egg Toss, a classic backyard game that grows more challenging with every round. For guests looking for something more hands-on, the No-Sew Bunnies craft station offers a charming alternative: guests create their own Easter bunnies without any sewing required, making it an accessible and satisfying project for all ages and skill levels.
The afternoon wraps up at 4:00 p.m. with the day's most ambitious craft offering: Easter Egg Mosaic Themed Crafts. Guests can choose from standard craft projects at $10 per person, or opt for a premium mosaic creation at $25 per person; intricate, stunning pieces that double as lasting works of art. Additional games and activities are woven throughout the day, ensuring there is always something happening for guests of every age.
As the afternoon gives way to evening, Watercolour Grillhouse offers the perfect setting to gather, unwind, and savor a holiday meal from a menu crafted for the occasion. Kokomo’s Bar and Grille will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. serving their regular menu, offering a more casual dining option for guests throughout the day.
At Watercolour Grillhouse, guests can begin with a selection of appetizers that set a high standard from the first bite. The Watercolour Jumbo Crab Cake, served with microgreens and key lime mustard, is a Grillhouse signature that showcases the kitchen's commitment to fresh, coastal-forward flavors. The Pan Seared Scallop Trio pairs delicate shellfish with an edamame mousse, crispy pancetta, mango habanero jam, and tempura carrot sticks. Heartier appetites will find satisfaction in the Wagyu Meatballs, slow-cooked in arrabbiata sauce and finished with smoked aged provolone, fresh herbs, grated parmesan, and grilled ciabatta. Rounding out the starters is a playful nod to the holiday itself: the Deviled Egg Caprese Salad, a fresh composition of heirloom tomato, mozzarella, aged balsamic, and extra virgin olive oil, crowned with grandma's pickled deviled eggs.
The Easter feature entrées anchor the menu with bold, seasonal combinations. The Pan Seared Sea Bass is a centerpiece, a beautifully rendered fillet resting on a lemon parmesan risotto with sautéed asparagus tips, pickled cabbage slaw, and a lemon vanilla beurre blanc that ties the plate together with finesse. The Chicken Cordon Bleu revisits a beloved classic with a smoked gouda cheese sauce, Yukon mashed potatoes, and honey sriracha Brussels sprouts that add a welcome kick. For a nod to Easter tradition, the Grilled Ham Steak arrives alongside Yukon garlic mashed potatoes and almondine green beans, finished with a honey mustard sriracha sauce. At the pinnacle of the menu sits the Surf & Turf; seven ounce Wagyu tenderloin paired with a crab cake, grilled asparagus, and a loaded baked potato.
Dessert brings the meal to a fitting close. The Chocolate Tower Cake, served with a Godiva chocolate crème, is a showstopper in both presentation and flavor. The Gelato Sampler, featuring strawberry, mint chocolate chip, mango, and cake batter Oreo meringue, offers a lighter, playful finish. The Bread Pudding, warm and comforting with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries, is the kind of ending that lingers long after the plates are cleared.
Easter Sunday at the Clearwater Beach Marriott Resort on Sand Key promises a day the whole family will look forward to, and never forget.
Reservations for Watercolour Grillhouse can be made on OpenTable. Activity schedules are subject to change; craft materials are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
