BANGKOK, THAILAND – September 2025 – Jaymart Group Holdings Public Company Limited, a leading diversified Thai conglomerate listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, today announced the appointment of Chin Pitak Norathepkitti as Senior Vice President of Hospitality, effective September 1, 2025. In this newly created executive role, Chin will provide strategic direction and operational oversight for the group's expanding hospitality portfolio, which includes luxury hotels, F&B operations, and eight community malls under JAS Assets Public Company Limited.

The appointment reinforces Jaymart Group's commitment to elevating its hospitality and retail assets through world-class operational excellence and strategic asset management. Chin brings nearly 20 years of proven luxury hospitality leadership across Southeast Asia, most recently serving as General Manager of Anantara Chiang Mai Resort, where he was recognized as #4 Best General Manager in Thailand by Travel + Leisure Asia's Luxury Awards 2025—the only Minor Hotels general manager to reach the prestigious industry finals.

Strategic Portfolio Oversight

In his new capacity, Chin will oversee operational performance and strategic development across Jaymart Group's diverse hospitality assets, including:

  • SENS Hotel Bangkok – Contemporary lifestyle hotel in the Ramintra area of Bangkok
  • J Valley Resort, Chiang Mai – Nature-immersive destination in Mae Rim featuring waterfall views and mountain lifestyle experiences
  • Anantara Chiang Mai Resort (asset management) – Flagship luxury resort in Northern Thailand

Chin's appointment follows a distinguished tenure as General Manager of Anantara Chiang Mai Resort (May 2022 - May 2025), where he achieved:

  • Delivered record revenue growth every consecutive year, surpassing the property's previous all-time revenue record set in 2018
  • Achieved market-leading RevPAR growth versus competitive set
  • Consistently exceeded GOP budget targets with strong operational discipline

Crisis Leadership & Business Continuity: In September-October 2024, Chin led the property through an unprecedented dual-flood event affecting 80% of resort infrastructure—the worst flooding in the property's 15-year history. Under his decisive leadership:

  • Safely evacuated 450+ guests and staff with zero injuries
  • Achieved full property reopening in just 17 days (October 21, 2024)
  • Secured business interruption insurance recovery
  • Implemented permanent flood protection infrastructure
  • Maintained team morale and prevented staff attrition during the crisis

Prior to Anantara Chiang Mai, Chin's career includes General Manager roles at:

  • InterContinental Khao Yai Resort (IHG) – June-August 2025
  • Anantara Angkor Resort, Siem Reap, Cambodia (Minor Hotels) – Navigated complete COVID-19 crisis-to-recovery cycle (2020-2022)
  • Sofitel Luang Prabang & 3 Nagas MGallery, Luang Prabang, Laos (Accor) – Cluster General Manager overseeing two UNESCO heritage properties (2017-2020)

His commercial foundation was built through senior sales leadership roles including Director of Sales at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit and Sales Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok (now Anantara Siam Bangkok).

Chin's international experience spans luxury hotel operations across Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos, with deep expertise in representing properties under prestigious global consortia programs including Virtuoso, American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, Signature Travel Network, and Traveller Made. This commercial sophistication, combined with operational rigor, positions him to elevate Jaymart Group's hospitality assets to compete at the highest international standards.

Beyond operations, Chin is committed to developing Thailand's next generation of hospitality leaders. He serves as Part-Time Lecturer at Dusit Thani College, where he created the acclaimed "Owner's Playbook" executive training program focusing on GOP analysis and asset management, and previously taught Tourism Management at Assumption University's MBA program (2011-2017).

Education & Credentials

Chin holds a Master of Arts in Tourism Management from Monash University (Australia) and a Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts (Drama/Film Directing) from Thammasat University (Thailand). His interdisciplinary background uniquely positions him to blend creative storytelling with analytical rigor—a combination that has defined his approach to creating memorable guest experiences grounded in strong financial performance.
