Malawi’s Fisherman’s Rest officially introduces their guided Mountain Biking over the Great Rift Valley!
They have recently imported four top quality mountain bikes. The new cycle routes run for 4-5 hours, emerging from the bush at Majete Wildlife Reserve. Explore the countryside, visit rural schools, cycle through untouched villages, cross muddy rivers, race down adrenaline filled dirt paths, whilst taking in uninterrupted breath-taking views. With several GPS tours available this is an experience not to be missed.
Nestled in a 50 acre nature reserve on the slopes of the Lower Shire Valleyyou’ll find a beautiful lodge and cottage accommodation for up to twelve guests. Fisherman’s Rest is exceptionally well located for visitors wishing to spend a few days exploring the parks and sights of this stunning area of Malawi, just a short drive from Blantyre. The nature reserve is filled with indigenous trees and a tranquil atmosphere. The wildlife includes Kudu, Nyala, Grysbok and many other species.
