Luxury Train to tour Pamplona for San Fermin 2013
(TRAVPR.COM) USA - January 25th, 2013 - The popular festival of San Fermin, commonly known for Running of the Bulls in Spain is going to be a luxury experience for a few exclusive guests this year thanks to a new package that has been introduced in 2013.
Like it happens every year, this year too there will be tens of thousands of visitors from all around the world that will flock into the small town of Pamplona from July 7th to July 14th for the festival. There will be thrill seekers who will run with the bulls and there will be others who will be there to watch. Accommodation as usual will be a challenge and it won't be unreasonable to go with an understanding that one has to travel about two hours away from Pamplona to be able to get a decent accommodation during that timeframe.
However there will be about 60 guests that will visit Pamplona in complete luxury and will watch the Running of the Bulls as well as a Bull Fight in Pamplona and a lot more. This, thanks to the new tour introduced by Palace Tours (palacetours.com), a US based luxury tour company specializing in train tours around the world including Spain, that is taking a luxury train to Pamplona during the San Fermin festival. The one of a kind tour departs from Madrid on July 7th, 2013 and makes its way through world heritage cities like Segovia, Avila, Salamanca, Burgos and La Rioja region before reaching Pamplona for the Running of the Bulls. The train tour ends in Zaragoza from where the guests make their way to Barcelona.
What is unique about this tour is that the guests travel in a luxury cruise style train from Madrid and reach Pamplona in their private luxury suites on board a train that will take them very close to the action. The train has a restaurant car, a well stocked bar, a lounge car and all amenities that one would typically expect in a hotel. There are only 32 suites on the train and every suite has an ensuite bathroom.
There are two categories of rooms - for twin and double (matrimonial) bed configurations. It is virtually a hotel on wheels where the guests don't have pack or unpack every day and experience the best of every destination in a guided fashion. Since there is limited accommodation on the train, only about 60 guests will be able to experience this journey and the tour has already been sold to a number of guests from around the globe and only a few rooms remain.
This is one of a kind journey and includes all meals, sight seeing trips, tickets to monuments, tickets for tbe bull fight, wine tastings etc. It provides a great value for the guests who have always been looking to visit Pamplona but have been worried about good accommodations in the region.
"It will change the way we look at rail travel, luxury and festivals like San Fermin", said Supinder Singh, President of Palace Tours.
Guests and travel agents can make reservations online at palacetours.com.
