(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - February 11th, 2013 - Bird Holidays is one of the UK's leading bird watching and wildlife tour operators. Established in 1991, they have many years of experience in organizing exciting trips to all corners of the globe.

Their main assets are their five professional bird guides. Paul Willoughby, Andrew Woodall, Roger Barnes, Phil Palmer and John McLoughlin between them lead all of their holidays. By keeping the total number of principal leaders to just five, they are able to maintain a ‘house style’ - relaxed but professional, experienced in birding and tour management, but most importantly, ensuring their holidays are a fun experience for all.

Birds Holidays has run a regular, sell out trip to Malawi for the last few years. This year, there are still a few places but these are sure to be snapped up very soon. The tour runs from October 4th – 23rd and encompasses trips to both Malawi and Zambia.

The 19 day birding tour come safari incorporates a trips to Lilongwe, Liwonde, the famous Lake Malawi and Malawi’s largest park – Nyika National Park. The trip isn’t just a chance to discover rare and special birds such as the African Barred Owlet, Pennant-winged Nightjar, Mountain Yellow Warbler and aptly named the Moustached Tinkerbird, its also a chance to discover the warm heart of Africa. Malawi is well known for its stunning landscapes, welcoming people, as well as its huge range of wildlife including ‘The Big 5’.

Bird Holidays trip to Malawi and Zambia will last a total of 19 days, and perhaps what is most special about the trip is that there is a maximum of 10 guests, ensuring that as a small group you can get the most of your Africa bird experience.
