The Scottish Golf Show will be arriving at Glasgow’s SECC on Friday 22nd March 2013.
(TRAVPR.COM) UK - February 15th, 2013 - Offering three full days of golfing fun, the show is far more than an assembly of exhibitors displaying the best and latest equipment, gear and clothing from the world of UK golf. Instead, the show also offers visitors a powerful interactive experience, allowing them to practice both driving and putting to their heart's content.
Indoor driving range
There is no larger indoor driving range in all of Scotland than the one found at the Scottish Golf Show. Featuring more than two dozen bays, the range is set up for the convenience of those attending the show – they need not bring their own clubs, and golf balls are continuously supplied so that they can get in as much driving practice as they desire.
There is no separate fee charged for use of the range; each entrance ticket into the Scottish Golf Show enables the bearer to make use of the indoor driving range. Visitors are welcome to test out a variety of different equipment on the range; some of the clubs available for testing include irons, wedges, fairway woods, hybrids and drivers.
Putting greens
As all golfers know, there is more to the game than driving alone. Putting is equally important, and the Scottish Golf Show has recognised this by providing for a variety of putting greens scattered throughout the exhibition hall. Not only is there a full nine-hole green available for practice but there are also others sponsored by some of the biggest names in golf, including Odyssey and PING.
The Long Putt Challenge is also back; players can attempt to sink a 45-foot putt with dozens of spectators looking on.
