Carried out under the supervision of Dubai Civil Defence, the exercise was conducted to guarantee safety standards are maintained throughout the hotel, including the flawless working of fire alarms and exits. It also focused on staff training making sure they are fully updated on evacuation procedures and routes, as well as ensuring explicit information is available for guests on exit routes and assembly points.

According to Director of Finance, Mr. Ahmed Badawy, response from the entire team was excellent: “The Taj Palace Dubai achieved the highest rating of 10 out of 10 for the team’s impressive performance, and I am delighted at this reinforcement of our high standards.”
