The toughest and bravest of the sea meet at Playa Encuentro, in Cabarete, Puerto Plata from 23 February to 3 March for the annual Master of the Ocean competition. Over the five days of competition, the regional best will be competing in surfing, wave riding, kite surfing and stand up paddling. There are competitions for men and women with four categories this year, including a new class of elite and multi-sport waterman/woman and the future master of the ocean.
