The highly skilled chefs from Taj Palace Dubai will yet again showcase their culinary talents at the prestigious Emirates International Salon Culinaire competition on 25th February, 2013 in Dubai.

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - February 25th, 2013 - The highly skilled chefs from Taj Palace Dubai will yet again showcase their culinary talents at the prestigious Emirates International Salon Culinaire competition on 25th February, 2013 in Dubai.

The annual event will be held as part of the Gulf Food 2013 that attracts participants from more than 88 countries. Over 1300 chefs from various hotels are expected to submit their entries. Each dish will be judged on use of ingredients, originality, hygiene, presentation, creativity, food wastage, taste and table display.

Led by Executive Chef Youssef Darwish, who is also one of the marshals this year, the team from Taj Palace Dubai will compete in 12 categories ranging from canapés to vegetable and fruit carving, gourmet dinner and Arabic feast among others.

Last year, the Taj Palace Dubai had fared exceedingly well at the competition winning several awards. According to Chef Youssef Darwish, “Emirates International Salon Culinaire competition is celebration of culinary art and a great platform to see tradition and innovation come together.”
