Thousands of vintage car fans will motor their way to Avignon this spring for the annual Motor Festival.
(TRAVPR.COM) UK - March 19th, 2013 - Fans of vintage cars and old motors will be heading to the Avignon Exhibition Centre this March to take part in the 11th Annual Avignon Motor Festival.
Spread out across more than 16,000 square metres of exhibition floor space covering twelve exhibition halls, the Avignon Motor Festival will feature a magnificent collection of classic cars, motorbikes, rare vehicles, spare parts, toys, and other rarities usually exhibited in museums.
Originally a simple show offering a glimpse of some rare cars, the Avignon Motor Festival has quickly become a premier event, geared toward serious car collectors as well as those who just love to look. The 2013 show will feature almost 400 exhibitors and 110 car clubs, while more than 30,000 visitors will pass through the halls.
The basic principle behind the Avignon Motor Festival is an appreciation for fine automotive engineering and a friendly atmosphere. The cars featured are not from a specific country or period, but from a wide range, offering an extensive look at vehicles of all classes.
In addition to the cars on display, the Avignon Motor Festival offers a packed programme of events including a parts and model car fair, a car boot sale, the ARTMOBILE art gallery, military vehicles, a fashion parade, a gala evening, and other special events and exhibitions.
The special focus of the 2013 Avignon Motor Festival will be the Renault Alpine, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Organisers of the show have created an extensive exhibit dedicated to the history of this car.
The Avignon Motor Festival will be held at the Avignon Exhibition Centre from 22 to 24 March 2013.
