NEW FROM CAPE MAC LODGE!
Industry: Safari

In an effort to continually improve the facilities offered, Malawi’s Cape Mac Lodge, situated in perhaps one of the finest areas of Lake Malawi, has been carrying out a number of improvements to their rooms.

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - March 27th, 2013 - In an effort to continually improve the facilities offered, Malawi’s Cape Mac Lodge, situated in perhaps one of the finest areas of Lake Malawi, has been carrying out a number of improvements to their rooms.

As well as improving the facilities offered within the rooms, such as new electrical equipment (including TVs) and mini bars, the lodge has also made a special investment and are now proud owners of two fun pedal boats!

Cape Mac Lodge is sited in the Lake Malawi National Park at Cape Maclear. The Lake Malawi National Park is the world’s first freshwater national park and a World Heritage Site. This vast expanse of water is a veritable aquarium of tropical fish, providing a colourful kaleidoscopic display. The countless thousands of freshwater fish, the mbuna, are more abundant and varied here than anywhere else in the world.

The lodge itself brings a flavour of France to the lakeside. Set in its own private gardens, complete with plunge pool, the lodge offers a high standard of accommodation in its architect-designed thatched buildings. There are a total of twelve well-equipped rooms including two family rooms, for two adults and two children, and another which sleeps three guests. The lodge provides a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area and take part in all the activities the lake has to offer.
