Alicante based Drivalia Car Rental has taken delivery of 15 new Peugeot 508s in time for Easter.

(TRAVPR.COM) SPAIN - March 27th, 2013 - Drivalia, the independent car rental company based at Alicante Airport, this week introduced 15 new family-friendly Peugeot 508s into its fleet.

Launched in 2010, the 508 is Peugeot’s large family saloon, which, reportedly, brought the French car maker closer to the Premium brands. Autocar acclaimed it a “well-finished paragon of pleasing design and decent perceived build”.

“We were keen to have this stylish vehicle in our fleet for two main reasons”, explained Martin Hall Drivalia’s Operations Manager. “Firstly, this spacious 4-door saloon is perfect for our family market looking for comfort and quality. Secondly, Peugeot have a good reputation for balancing performance with economy, a very important consideration today.”

The company has purchased the Peugeot 508 HDi Allure 1.6 model with a 6-speed automatic transmission and an urban MPG of 50. Boot capacity is around 550 litres.

“With prices starting at 180 Euro for a week’s rental we are certain this vehicle will find favour with many of our families during the upcoming Easter and Summer holidays.” , said Hall.
