Improve your techniques with a 3-week session workshop with Trout Unlimited
(TRAVPR.COM) USA - April 15th, 2013 - Waterville Valley, NH – What makes fly-fishing unique, fly-tying and identifying fish are some of the things you can learn at the ‘Fundamentals of Fly-Fishing’, a three-week session workshop. This class will be held at the Waterville Valley Recreation Department, on Saturday, June 8, 15 and 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Presented by the NH Fish and Game Department, the “Fundamentals of Fly-Fishing” is a great opportunity to learn the basic techniques, such as rod reel and line assembly, basic equipment, casting instructions, knots, fish habitat, forage, identification and ethics. The workshop fee is $10 per person.
These three-week sessions includes classroom time and also a field trip to round off your fishing experience. All instructors are certified by the NH Fish and Game and bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to help the beginning anglers get started.
The equipment will be provided but bring your own if you have it – recommended 5/6 weight fly rod & reel, 5/6 weight floating line. The workshop is limited to the first 10 registrants and children +12 with adult supervision are welcomed.
