The Dubai International Art Centre (DIAC) will host an Annual Students’ Exhibition from June 1 to 15, 2013.

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - May 16th, 2013 - The Dubai International Art Centre (DIAC) will host an Annual Students’ Exhibition from June 1 to 15, 2013.

“It is a celebration of some amazing work by our students,” said Chairwoman of the DIAC, Ayesha Chen McKeever. The exhibition, that will take place at DIAC’s Gallery 76, would showcase the very best of paintings, sculptures, mixed media and photography by the centre’s young ‘maestros’.

“As is the tradition at the DIAC, the top students participating at the exhibition –  three painters and three sculptors – will each win a free professionally-curated exhibition to be held in 2014 as their well-deserved prize,” informed Ayesha.

“The annual event serves as the first public platform for our students. From this show to the all-important Prize Winners Exhibition in 2014 – it’s an incredible  journey for the participating artists – one that is designed to launch them into the world of arts,” Ayesha stressed.

Exhibition timings: 6.30pm on June 1st  and 9am-8pm daily from June 2 to 15, 2013.

From its inception, the DIAC has been one of the emirate’s most respected institutions, having served the arts community in Dubai since 1976, providing space to learn, practice and display a wide repertoire of art activity. It is located in Villa 27, Street 75B, off Jumeirah Road, behind Town Center.
