The World Travel Awards are known as the Oscars of the travel world and presented as a result of inspection and recommendation by travel industry professionals. These awards follow the acclamation of Baros Maldives by the World Travel Awards in 2012 as the World’s Most RomanticResort. This year the resort has also won Trip Advisor Awards as Number 1 for Romance in Asia, and as The Number 1 Hotel in the Maldives and as the World’s 8th Top Hotel.
