(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - June 6th, 2013 - With a licence to thrill, the Piggs Peak dirt bike family rally winter blanket run offers an unforgettable experience! Described as ‘the ultimate off road riding experience’ this rally covers many kilometres, crossing all different types of terrain.
The rally is based on the same principle as the highly successful 2012 Toy Run at the Piggs Peak Hotel and Casino.
That event, as is anticipated with the Winter Blanket Run, enjoyed over 40 entries ranging from a seven year old on a KTM two wheeler, to a 60 year old on a Can Am 600 quad.
We were able to hand out over 2000 presents through the support of the bikers as well as Swaziland Businesses to the rural children and are expecting to hand out 500 blankets with this first blanket run.

2013 will see the Winter Blanket Run and the end of year 2013 Toy Run, 2014 will see four events Starting with The 2014 Easter Egg Run, The 2014 Winter Blanket Run, The Spring Festival Run (collection of food hampers) to be included in the final event, The 2014 Toy Run.

The event is centred around the Piggs Peak Hotel which has now merged with the neighbouring Casino. The two entities are now both run by Piggs Peak Hotel, now called Piigs Peak Hotel & Casino. This merge means that facilities for guests are vastly improved and the management of onsite activities and entertainment is done soley by the hotel.
