It is more important now than ever before for a hotel to have a strong online presence, and with this in mind it’s hoped that new accommodation providers in Swaziland will have an opportunity to access this vital promotion. Hotel Link Solutions, run in Swaziland by Myxo Mdluli of Myxo’s Woza Nawe Cutlural Tours, has been launched and aims to do just this.

According to the Swaziland Tourism Authority, in 2012 there were 140 accommodation facilities in Swaziland. Hotel Link Solutions expects to capture a significant portion of that market. These will be a mixture of everything from small guesthouses to upmarket hotels, and include properties owned by the indigenous people.

Importantly, 81 of the 140 active properties in Swaziland currently have operational websites but only eight are connected to a channel manager. This is strong evidence that there is further room to improve.
