ARIZONA GRAND CANYON TOURS TO SET A NEW TONE FOR ARIZONA TOURISM
Industry: Tours

Luxury Motor Coach Service to the Grand Canyon, Bearizona and the Grand Canyon Railway in Williams, Arizona to Begin June 26th

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - June 20th, 2013 - The recently established Arizona Grand Canyon Tours (AZGCT) announced today Arizona’s newest tour to the Grand Canyon. After years of difficult times for Arizona’s Tourism Industry and the inability to compete with Las Vegas for commercial tour traffic to the Grand Canyon, Arizona Grand Canyon Tours is set to take back the Canyon. The new tour will leave from Phoenix, AZ and include visits to Bearizona, the Grand Canyon Railway in Williams, AZ and Arizona’s very own Grand Canyon.

Our one-day tour will depart from Elevate Coffee Company located at The Shops at Norterra at I-17 and Happy Valley Road initially on Wednesdays and by year-end three times a week. The first stop on the tour is Bearizona, a 160 acre wildlife park in Williams, AZ. Lunch will then be served along the historic Route 66 at the Grand Canyon Railway Café and then to one of the wonders of the world, Arizona’s Grand Canyon.

With an improving tourism market and an increase in international visitors, Arizona Grand Canyon Tours is poised to capture its share of the Grand Canyon market. "Arizona is the Official Grand Canyon State, so why shouldn’t we compete for domestic and international travelers," said Tim Snyder, President of Arizona Grand Canyon Tours. “Adding this tour to the Phoenix market can only help the tourism industry here in Arizona,” says Snyder.

Snyder also said, “Our tour will be offered to the public, business travelers, convention visitors and we will be marketing to Arizonan’s to join us for this unique one-of-a-kind experience.” ”Arizona summer’s are known to be hot, so why not cool off with our trip to the Grand Canyon for the whole family,” says Snyder.

Based on a study by the Arizona Department of Transportation in 2005, Arizona represented only 25% of business/convention travelers to the Grand Canyon. In addition, less than one-in-a-half percent of visitors were 25 years of age and younger. “With our mode of transportation being 54 passenger luxury motor coaches, our tours offer a great opportunity for business and convention travelers to experience the Grand Canyon during their stay in the greater Phoenix area,” says Snyder. In addition, Snyder says that Arizona Grand Canyon Tours exclusive agreement to Bearizona wildlife park is a must see for the young and old.

Headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, Arizona Grand Canyon Tours was created to offer a one-of-a-kind experience of the Grand Canyon, Bearizona and the Grand Canyon Railway in Williams, AZ. Our tour onboard a 54 passenger luxury motor coach with drive and adventure guide is the only full service Grand Canyon Bus Tour available to the public from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. We are excited to offer you this unique experience and look forward to showing you our state!
