Kololi Beach Club in The Gambia joins TATOC

(TRAVPR.COM) U.K. - June 26th, 2013 - The Timeshare Association (Timeshare Owners and Committees), TATOC, is delighted to announce that Kololi Beach Club in The Gambia has become the association’s first African-based member resort.

Kololi Beach Club is situated on a 24-acre beachfront site, overlooking endless beaches and the Atlantic Ocean. The 44 one- and two-bedroom villas are set in beautiful grounds and built to the highest specification.

The self-contained and air conditioned accommodation is luxuriously and beautifully furnished with a lounge, dining room, bedroom, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. All villas have either a private terrace or balcony.

On-site amenities include a par-3 golf course (club rentals available), two swimming pools and a grocery shop. There are two bars, a pool bar and a restaurant that offers a wide choice of international and traditional cuisine. Visitors can enjoy a variety of African and European entertainment and a beauty salon offering a range of treatments. Kololi Beach Club is an Interval International premium resort.

The Timeshare Association (Timeshare Owners and Committees), known as TATOC, was formed in 1989 and is the only elected consumer association representing the interests of timeshare owners in Europe. 

There are over 90 member resorts located across Europe and Africa giving TATOC access to thousands of timeshare-owning families. TATOC resort membership is open to any resort committee or owners’ association that has elected or appointed representatives.

All TATOC member resorts must sign and follow the TATOC code of practice. Member resorts are able to apply for TATOC accreditation, which acknowledges best practice in resort management and hospitality.

The mission of TATOC is to safeguard and enhance the timeshare holiday experience for existing and prospective users and to be the voice of owners.
