(TRAVPR.COM) UAE - June 27th, 2013 - Abu Dhabi, UAE, 26 June 2013 –Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas is slated to open the doors to its latest Abu Dhabi resort, the Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort on Sir Bani Yas Island in July 2013. The five star luxury villa resort comprises 30 luxurious beachfront villas, offering a unique experience that capitalises on the impressively diverse beach and wildlife blend of Sir Bani Yas Island and the dazzling Arabian Gulf surroundings.
Complementing the existing Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara, Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort, which is developed by Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), will offer guests an alternative private-stay experience while providing them with five-star luxury hospitality services, enhanced by an authentic Arabian look and feel. The retreat will also fill a niche market on the island by focusing on the luxury needs of travellers seeking a more exclusive, intimate island atmosphere, as well as a variety of adventurous experiences.
Al Yamm, meaning ‘The Sea’, was inspired by the Arish dwellings of the early fishermen and pearl divers who lived seasonally on the island. This Sir Bani Yas Island Resorthas been built with sustainable design features perfectly complementing the island’s delicate ecosystem. Located on the beautiful eastern shores of Sir Bani Yas Island, Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort consists of 30 villas, 16 of which are located on the beach overlooking the dazzling Arabian Sea and another 14 overlooking, a tranquil lagoon rich with high mangroves, offering guests views of the elegant white and pink flamingos that favour this verdant sanctuary, and the sea beyond.

For a delicious dining experience at Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort, Olio, the tri-sectioned delectable Italian restaurant, offers all day dining, a lounge and a bar; alternatively guests can enjoy a gastronomic feast at one of the islands five other restaurants, including the signature seafood restaurant, Samak, or the beachside free standing Amwaj tapas restaurant launched earlier this year.
The 21 one-bedroom Villas, 7 one-bedroom Pool Villas and the 2 two-bedroom Anantara Pool Villas with individual plunge pools, each feature a luxurious rainforest shower with a large freestanding bathtub to unwind in, as well as high-definition flat screen TV’s and an iPod docking station. The Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort is managed by the renowned Thai hospitality group Anantara, which also manages the only resort currently present on Sir Bani Yas Island, Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara. The opening is the first of two new developments planned for the expansion of Sir Bani Yas Island, with the Anantara Al Sahel Villa Resort slated to open at the end of 2013.
