(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - July 5th, 2013 - In August 2012 Robin Pope Safaris (RPS) was instrumental in the reintroduction of lions in Majete Wildlife Reserve by sponsoring their relocation from South Africa.
Now a year later, they are proud to be able to celebrate World Lion day in Majete on 10th August 2013. To celebrate this day, they are offering guests staying at Mkulumadzi Lodge a special activity on the 10th and 11th of August. Guests will get the opportunity to learn about and track the lions of Majete with African Parks (AP). A donation will be made by RPS to AP for every guest who joins the activity.
The activity kicks off with an African Parks representative giving insight into the lions of Majete Wildlife Reserve. Thereafter guests will track the actual location of the lions. If the lions are in a location easily accessible by vehicle, guests will go out in search of them and hopefully be able to see them.
A huge bonus will be seeing some cubs as well, as it is suspected that the lioness has given birth; though this is yet to be confirmed at this point.
This is an exciting opportunity to get insight into Majete’s lions – don’t miss out!
Robin Pope Safari also run Pumulani, accommodation within the Lake Malawi National Park.
