Get on Mýrdalsjökull Glacier in Iceland without having to move a muscle. On Planiceland.com´s facebook page you will be able with a push of a button to get your facebook profile picture and name on the glacier, laminated and in a box that is buried in the glacier. When you come and visit Iceland you will be able to check out your picture for yourself.

When we launched our facebook page this summer www.facebook.com/planiceland it was done with a twist as we introduced the concept ´Get on the Glacier´, where you will be able to get on Mýrdalsjökull glacier in Iceland without travelling. We have promised that every person that likes the facebook page and clicks on the yellow button which can be found under ´Get on the Glacier´, will get their profile picture and name printed out and put into the glacier.

The pictures will ofcourse be laminated and put in a safe box so it can be found by guided travellers any time. There are many tours that will bring travellers on the glacier and get to the box with the pictures, which is inserted into the glacier (see video).
