Leading provider of cruise and travel incentives has signed up as a TATOC affiliate

(TRAVPR.COM) U.K. - July 22nd, 2013 -The Timeshare Association (Timeshare Owners and Committees), TATOC, is delighted to announce that the European office of International Cruise & Excursions, known as ICE Europe, has become a TATOC affiliated company.

Launched in 1997 and renowned as a worldwide travel and leisure organisation, ICE provides innovative cruise, holiday and travel programmes as well as membership rewards and loyalty schemes to over 150 major brands globally.

The ICE Platinum Rewards programme provides members with a number of valuable benefits including travel savings, cruise and tour exchange, experiential holidays, travel planning and a ‘best price guarantee’ on hotels, cruises and holidays.

Stuart Ockenden, senior vice president, ICE Europe, explained why the company had decided to support TATOC and become affiliates: “ICE works very closely globally with industry bodies and associations and it was imperative for me to ensure that we re-engage completely within the industry.

“TATOC has grown into a very strong influence and voice over the years for the members throughout Europe. The innovations that they also bring, such as the introduction of the TATOC Ambassador, are a welcome addition to the strength and bonding that is needed for members and consumers alike. 

“I am delighted to become a TATOC affiliate and I look forward to supporting the continued growth of the association in the vitally important role they play".

Speaking about the affiliation, Harry Taylor, TATOC’s executive chairman added: “ICE is a well known and respected name within our industry and we are delighted that we will be able to add their name to our directory of affiliated businesses."

As affiliates of TATOC, ICE Europe will adhere to the TATOC Code of Conduct issued in August 2011 and the association’s code of ethics. All companies wishing to affiliate to TATOC are thoroughly vetted beforehand and continually monitored. The Timeshare Association (Timeshare Owners and Committees), known as TATOC, was formed in 1989 and is the only elected consumer association representing the interests of timeshare owners in Europe. 

Launched five years ago, TATOC affiliation was developed to provide a directory of suppliers of services such as marketing, exchange and re-sale to the timeshare industry in Europe.

TATOC member resorts looking to purchase such services for their own operations and to recommend to their members can work with these businesses safe in the knowledge they are regularly assessed to ensure the highest levels of customer service.

Today there are over 30 affiliated companies offering high quality, customer-focused products and services to the timeshare industry. TATOC affiliation has given these companies the edge when competing with other non-affiliated businesses.
