Brian Mundy retires after 29 years as In Quest of the Classics President
(TRAVPR.COM) USA - July 23rd, 2013 - Long established San Diego based tour operator In Quest of the Classics (IQOTC) today announced the retirement of long time President Brian Mundy.
With over 40 years in the travel industry, Mundy has built IQOTC to its present position as a Virtuoso preferred supplier of luxury custom built European tours for independent and group travelers. “I wish to thank all those loyal travel agents throughout the USA who have supported me and IQOTC over the years.” said Mundy “They have been a pleasure to work with and I am proud to leave the business with such a strong team.”
Eralier this year IQOTC announced a link up with Europe based Discover Travel & Tours. Ben Ford, Commercial Manager of Discover Travel & Tours, is relocating to Ca. as interim CEO to manage the launch of IQOTC’s new program of European luxury tours for independent travelers for 2014.” We are delighted that Brian Mundy has agreed to continue to support IQOTC in a consultancy role over the coming months to help us develop our exciting new tours program for 2014.” remarked Andrew Grieve, President of Discover Travel & Tours.
