(TRAVPR.COM) LAOS - August 20th, 2013 - LUANG PRABANG, Laos -- Peaceful and charming Luang Prabang is steering towards one of the most unique events in Asia and the first ever half-marathon in this World Heritage Site of Laos. The marathon is set to take place on October 5, 2013 and is expected to attract more than 500 international runners. Inspired by the perambulation of alms-seeking monks in the morning, the event has been dubbed "La Procession" in homage to this ritual.
