(TRAVPR.COM) MALDIVES - August 29th, 2013 - The Maldives has been on every diver’s wish list, and it is obvious why. For instance, where else can you explore the spectacular marine life so freely and safely? Second, the waters here are so temperate and warm, you might feel as if you’ve stepped into a natural jacuzzi (minus the whirlpool effect though). Third, you’re bound to encounter that fish you’ve been waiting to brag about so badly to your friends and family. Fourth, you would need at least a year to uncover the mysterious secrets of the deep in the Maldives that is from the North till South, meaning there’s always a reason to come back for more.
Rasdhoo Divers provides the perfect opportunity to delve into some serious diving at North Aril Atoll, home to one of the most intricate underwater ecosystems with a wide range of fish species. Taking place twice a week, the Dive Safari takes you on an adventurous journey into the seas. Choose from either a half day or a full day dive, where you meet at the Dive School early morning at half past 5. Assemble your gear, and admire the Maldivian sunrise, a sight to behold with the flurry of colours painted on the teal tinted sky. Embark the boat at sharp 6 and you the sense of a thrilling pursuit begins. You will be served breakfast on board, to muster up all the energy for the unforeseen dive encounters that await you.
The Dive Instructor and the Dive master carefully selects where to go depending on the conditions, where famed sites such as Maayaa Thila, Hafza Thila, and Fish Head are picked, each guaranteeing new experiences. At around half past 9 you’ll be diving your way around overhangs clustered with fish, witnessing psychedelic nudibranches, and drifting through warm currents that lead you to pristine coral life teeming with curious turtles, shy sharks and sneak-peeking moray eels. And that’s just a few of the incredible animals you’ll be able to see.
Do not miss the chance to take part in this one of a kind safari, as it will be filled with moments you’re bound to cherish as a diver and as a nature lover. We understand why diving in the Maldives is a dream come true and Kuramathi does its best to extend the possibility of offering the beautiful experience.
