(TRAVPR.COM) UAE - September 2nd, 2013 - As part of the hotel’s commitment to the safety and security of its guests and all others, the staff of Coral Beach Resort – Sharjah carried out a successful fire drill, ensuring all team members are fully updated on their role to handle emergency evacuation during a fire.

According to Jean-Pierre Simon, Regional General Manager, Coral Hotels & Resorts, the drill was part of the safety and security programme specified by Sharjah Fire Department. “The safety of our guests and employees is our number one priority and these regular drills are part of our continuous effort to ensure all safety procedures are followed at the hotel. Our objective is to provide the right training and briefing to staff so that they are aware of their role during an emergency. In next month’s drill we will involve guests by replicating the circumstances of an emergency in order to give our team more experience in not only procedures but also dealing with guests who are not so familiar with the hotel and emergency routes.”
