Tongole are now proud to announce their 4* Lodge status. They’re just one of only two Lodges given this status in Malawi and has been achieved this in less than two years of their operation!

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - September 4th, 2013 - Malawi’s Tongole Wilderness Lodge is one of the country’s true gems when it comes to accommodation. Situated in the Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve it’s in an area relatively untouched, and offers rugged landscapes, thrilling wildlife, and fun activities. Tongole are now proud to announce their 4* Lodge status. They’re just one of only two Lodges given this status in Malawi and has been achieved this in less than two years of their operation!

The assessment focused on all the aspects of the operation of the lodge and was carried out by officials at the Ministry of Tourism. Assessors stayed at the Lodge for three and below are just a few of their comments.

…“high quality linen in rooms and well-co-ordinated with overall room décor.”

“ Good quality paint, attractive co-ordination of colours and textures. Good quality artistic objects and wood work all in good condition”

“ hot and cold water was available all the time.” … The shower in the room is not the ordinary type, it’s a “waterfall.”

“There was skilful use of fresh ingredients, well-garnished and meals were prepared to the right degree”

“The staff is confident, warm, friendly and helpful.”
