Danforth has another happy holiday season!
(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - September 9th, 2013 - July and August has been busy as usual at Danforth Yachting with couples and families making the most of the summer break. Being a small, owner run establishment Michelle and Howard welcome all new guests to the site as new friends and recent reviews reflect just that.
“If Malawi is the Warm Heart of Africa, then Danforth is the Warm Heart of malawi!”
“From the moment we arrived in this lovely boutique hotel, we were made to feel extremely welcome, and like a new friend rather than a guest. The owners are lovely, Howard will take anyone on in a yacht race on the lake and drinks in the evening were very relaxed and gave us a chance to talk to all the guests. The young couple who manage it were absolutely wonderful and organised many a birthday treat for me which I had never expected. On a many months trip through southern Africa, this was definitely our favourite experience.”
“We were fortunate enough to spend a few days at Danforth Lodge chilling out after being on safari, dinghy sailing, learning to water ski, with amazing service and loads of laughs with the whole team there. We then spent five days on the yacht Mefusa with Howard, Victor and Dixon, which was an absolute privilege and something everyone should try.”
“Danforth truly exceeded my expectations on every possible level. The one single, key difference between Danforth and many other similar operations is the total commitment to customer comfort and satisfaction delivered by Howard, Michelle and their outstanding team. Howard and Michelle are great examples of hands -on ownership.”
“Just back from a 3 night stay with Howard, Michelle and the rest of the team at Danforth Yachting. The place is a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Cape Maclear. There is plenty to do, the food is great, and the rooms are comfortable. It is well located on the beach so you are close to the action but still have plenty of peace and quiet. Snorkeling, kayaking and catamaran rides were a blast. What really sets this place apart though is the excellent service and engagement from the hosts and staff. We look forward to returning soon.”
Danforth Yachting is situated at Cape Maclear in the Lake Malawi National Park. Surrounded by islands, this is one of the most beautiful locations on this magnificent lake. Danforth is both a yacht charter company and a luxury lodge, focusing on sailing and watersports.
