We’re pleased to announce that Swaziland’s Phoponyane Falls Ecolodge and Nature Reserve has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award.
(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - September 11th, 2013 - We’re pleased to announce that Swaziland’s Phoponyane Falls Ecolodge and Nature Reserve has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award. The accolade, which honors hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Only the top-performing 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.
Phophonyane Falls Ecolodge is nestled in the spectacular mountain scenery of north-west Swaziland, amid tumbling waterfalls and lush natural forests. It is a favourite destination for discerning travellers seeking a romantic and revitalising hideaway in a setting of stunning beauty.
Phophonyane preserves the now rare and richly biodiverse habitat of the middleveld habitat. Here, along the magical forested trails, one hears the mysterious hoot of the scarlet and emerald feathered narina trogon, the strange whistle of the red duiker, and the bark of the elusive bushbuck
To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
Here are just a few of the comments visitors to the lodge have made.
“this is an incredibly lush property with falls, foliage, nature walks and a variety of chalets to stay in, with "the beehive" being the most unique as it features the Swazi style of using sticks and thatch over a completely modern interior, all beautifully done.”
“Phophonyane is a fantastic place to relax and unwind. It is a unique environment in which we felt close to nature, but with modern amenities to make our stay comfortable. It is great to know that places like this exist. “
“We loved our stay in Beehive #2 at Phophonyane Falls. Granted, it was unusual, but that was part of the charm for us. The bed was nice, the room was warm enough (we turned the radiator heater on when we got to the room), and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable and unique stay.”
“A wonderfully located, isolated corner of paradise. Rough African road to get there but completely worth it if you want to disconnect and simply enjoy the abundant setting and extraodinary views. Fantastic (and well marked) trails amazing creepy crawlies, birds, vegetation and falls (all suitable for children - we had a 4 + 11 yr old with us). “
