One thing fall is perfect for is celebrating local artisans. Crisp fall weather and changing leaves make the perfect background for craft shows, one the Lakes Region’s most popular type of events, considering the high quality work put forth by local artisans. For example, the NH Highland Games at Loon Mountain Resort in Lincoln, NH is the largest Scottish festival in the Northeast and one of the most popular events of the year in the Lakes Region.
