SOUTH AMERICA TRAVEL PIONEER SOUTHAMERICA.TRAVEL UNVEILS NEW WEBSITE AND SPARKLING 4* & 5* CORPORATE IMAGE
Industry: Tour Ops

SouthAmerica.travel revealed a new website design on www.SouthAmerica.travel including a new multi-color gemstone logo, reflecting the beauty and diversity of the continent.

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED STATES - October 4th, 2013 - During the final golden days of August, SouthAmerica.travel revealed a new website design on www.SouthAmerica.travel including a new multi-colored gemstone logo, reflecting the beauty and diversity of the continent.

The new look was the product of many months of careful deliberation, as the company seeks to cultivate an aesthetic design and a more intuitive website which highlights the most attractive aspects of South America as an increasingly popular travel destination.

“We wanted a website that would be fun and easy to use, while reflecting the beauty of South America, and this new site truly makes that happen,” said Kaitlin McMichael, Marketing Manager at SouthAmerica.travel. “We queried many in our target market to ensure the layout and the forms were easy to use and that it was easy to find what you’re looking for on the site.”

The new design emphasizes SouthAmerica.travel’s specialties: multi-country South America trips, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Colombia, and Ecuador, “however you can find all of South America – including Bolivia, Uruguay and Paraguay, as well as tours by activity, such as wine, railway or golf,” added McMichael.

The “multi-country tours” of South America are front and center in the new layout, and users are one click away from viewing hundreds of trip ideas that bridge countries in South America. Plus, the new Custom Tour form makes it easy – and fun! – for travelers to select the destinations and activities that interest them.

“We’re extremely excited about the “Create Your Own Custom Tour” function on the new website,” says Bradley Nehring, SouthAmerica.travel Vice President and C.O.O. “We’ve re-invented our custom tour form, but we’ve made it truly intuitive. In just 3 steps, you can choose your preferred South America destinations, choose from a dozen activities like wines, UNESCO sites or adventure, and giveus as much or as little info about your upcoming travel plans as you’d like. Then, we’ll take care of all the details, adding our knowledge of the destinations, and create a perfect itinerary tailored for you.”

The company is looking forward to receiving more inquiries from the new custom tour form. “Custom, tailor-made tours are our specialty,” added McMichael. “That’s where our travel consultants’ expertise and passion truly shine: when travelers request assistance arranging a trip for multiple locales in South America.”

As for the new logo, the company felt that an entire brand update was needed. Everything from the color scheme, fonts, logo, and website layout have been completely overhauled.

“South America is a beautiful, diverse place to visit: the green forests and rolling hills in southern Brazil, the brilliant red hues of the Atacama Desert, the lush cloud forest of Machu Picchu, and the Caribbean ports of Colombia. We wanted a look and feel for our company that conveyed that cultural vibrancy, rich history, and natural beauty. Our new logo, diamond shaped, colorful and multi-faceted, reflects the high quality of our tour destinations and the hotels that we represent,” explained Juergen Keller, C.E.O of SouthAmerica.travel.

“With this website re-design and new look, we hope to increase our brand awareness and reinforce our tour company as the trusted leader in the South America tour operator industry,” said McMichael. “It’s a competitive yet growing niche, andour company delivers incredible value combined with unparalleled expertise. The new website conveys that value so much better.”
