On October 25 and 26 lots of fun events are planned for adults and kids, zombies and princesses. The festivities will include dancing with the Lakes Region Big Band at a Masquerade Ball, gazing into the future at the Mystical Extravaganza, and being entranced under a hypnotic spell at the Legendary Brewgala with comedic hypnotist Frank Santos. Legendary Brewgala will be at Legends Restaurant from 9 p.m. to midnight.
Kids activities throughout the weekend are offered by the Waterville Valley Recreation Department. And be on the lookout all around the area for all kinds of special witch decorations. Stop by Community Guaranty Savings Bank, King Realty, Mad River Coffee House, Moriarty Property Management Services, Mad River Tavern, Woodpeckers, and the Pemi Chamber Visitor Information Center to tour the witches and cast your vote on the best witch in the region.
There will be a Haunted Fun Night Out on Friday, October 25th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Waterville ValleyRecreation Department. The event includes a pizza party, gym games, pumpkin carving, decorating and more for $30 per child (ages 6 and up). Pre-registration required by calling 603-236-4695.
The same night, the grown ups can attend the Masquerade Ball at the Waterville Valley Conference Center – put on by the Pemi Valley Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy live music by Lakes Region Big Band. This 21 piece professional band will offer a brew of high-energy contemporary jazz, fusion and rock, along with a selection of classic big band swing: 6 to 9 p.m., tickets are $40.
Then, on Saturday, October 26th experience the hypnotic spell of Frank Santos who offers a performance just for adults - who become the stars of the show, as Frank makes them believe that they are singers, dancers and much, much more. This is a performance where the audience becomes the show. His performance has limitless variations and is sure to please everyone. Tickets are $20 per person, 21 and over.
That afternoon, there will be a Mystical Extravaganza in the Town Square with free
readings, healings, and wizardry from 11 a.m. to 3p.m.
Vendors include The Loon Witch offering aura photography, tarot readings, rune readings, your name in runes, charms, crystal grids, divination tool and more.
Trick-or-Treating for the kids is offered on Saturday beginning at 4:00 p.m. The event includes a haunted house, costume contest and trick-or-treating escorted to all the Waterville Valley lodges & businesses.
