(TRAVPR.COM) UK - November 18th, 2013 - The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club will begin operations in December of this year.  The hotel is situated within the Puntacana Resort & Club resort, in the beautiful Playa Blanca area in the Dominican Republic’s eastern region.  The 200-room facility also features 10 suites, all with beachfront views of the Caribbean Sea.

In addition, the hotel has a social area with capacity for 400 guests, a special area for weddings, a kids club, restaurant, grill, lobby and cigar bars, and Westin worldwide services such as “Heavenly Bed,” the Westin SuperFoods and the Workout Studio.

Guests also have access to the “Los Corales” and “La Cana” golf courses, an indigenous ecological reserve home to 12 natural springs, nature trails, equestrian and tennis centers, Kite  Club, water activities such as surfing, scuba diving, paddle surfing, ecotours, spa, and restaurants.
