Wanderlust and Lipstick’s 6th Annual Travel Writing Contest

November 22, 2013 – As one of the top websites for female travelers, Wanderlust and Lipstick seeks to empower women to venture out into the world. Wanderlust and Lipstick’s sixth annual travel writing contest is currently welcoming submissions from adventurous women around the globe. Participants can enter one of four categories – Adventure, Food & Drink, Passion, or Spiritual – for a chance to win a six-night stay at the stunning Westin Golf Resort & Spa in Costa Rica and two $600 airfare vouchers from Expedia (approximate value $4,080). Each category winner will receive a TORQ bag from Briggs & Riley (approximate value $479).
Entrants must be women, but it doesn’t matter whether they are seasoned writers or writing their very first story. All tales of travel are welcome!
“The goal of our yearly travel writing contest is to provide women writers of all levels with the opportunity to share their stories and possibly win one of our amazing prizes,” says Beth Whitman, founder of Wanderlust and Lipstick.
The contest runs October 1, 2013, through December 31, 2013, and the winning writers will be announced in mid-February. Entrants can submit more than one story.
The Prizes
Grand Prize: A six-night stay at Westin Golf Resort & Spa, Playa Conchal in tropical Costa Rica as well as two $600 airfare vouchers on Expedia.
