(TRAVPR.COM) UK - January 30th, 2014 - Chilly Powder, a family-run chalet in Morzine-Avoriaz, is proud to have received three prestigious Travellers Choice Awards 2014 from TripAdvisor. The internationally renowned travel review website has recognised Chilly Powder as the fifth best hotel for families in France, the seventh best small hotel in France and the seventh best bargain hotel in France.

The luxurious chalet-hotel boasts a true ski-to-door location as it is located directly opposite the main gondola lift to Avoriaz. Based in the heart of Portes du Soleil, Chilly Powder also provides direct access to a range of amazing activities, including ice climbing, sleigh rides, glacier walking and ice diving in the winter, and white water rafting, hydro speeding, paragliding and mountain boarding in the summer.

Located just an hour away from Geneva, Morzine is a favourite with cycling enthusiasts and Chilly Powder hosted Team Astana during the 2010 Tour de France. The chalet is renowned for its exquisite food and bespoke service. Their head chef creates all his menus using fresh, local produce, aided by owner Francesca Eyre who is a Cordon Bleu chef. 

TripAdvisor lists reviews on thousands of hotels worldwide with over twenty million members and fifty million reviews. Now in their twelfth year, the Travellers Choice Awards honour the most outstanding properties in various categories including Top Hotels, Bargain, B&B’s and Inns, Family, Luxury, Romance and Small Hotels.
