(TRAVPR.COM) INDIA - March 15th, 2014 - As Amarnathji is one of the most spiritual pilgrimage centers of Lord Shiva in India, it is visited by thousands of pilgrims every year from round the globe. Amarnath is also one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Lord Shiva is also known as Bhole Baba, Mahadeva, Rudra and Baba Barfani. It is believed that, he is the most innocent God, who can easily be convinced by a devotee if worshipped with true emotions.
Amarnath holy cave is situated deep into the Himalayan ranges I Jammu & Kashmir region of India. Its Yatra is yearly organized by Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) mostly between June to August.
This year the Amarnath Yatra will commence from 28th June and will continue till 10th August 2014. The registration for this holy Yatra has already started from 1st March 2014. The interested pilgrims must provide their cleared medical certificate at the time of registration. Please note that the medical certificate should only be cleared by the list of doctors given by the Shrine Board.
ROUTE:-
Amarnath Yatra can be completed either by trek or by the helicopter. There are two trekking routes, which are set by the SASB for the pilgrims and they are as follow.
Amarnathji Route no 1
Pahalgam to Chandanwari (16Km), Chandanwari to Pissu Top (3Km), Pissu Top to Shesh Nag (9Km), Shesh Nag to Panchtarni (6Km), Panchtarni to Holy Cave (6Km).
Amarnathji Route no 2
Baltal to Domail (2Km), Domail to Barari (5Km), Barari to Sangam (4Km), Sangam to HolyCave (3Km).
