Day tour brand offers travellers unique local experiences that are hard to find without insider knowledge

Showcasing hidden gems as well as the classic sights, Urban Adventures' tours are led by locals who have the inside scoop on their city's most unique experiences, which are either off-limits to tourists or simply hard to find without insider knowledge.

Snapshots of Barcelona (3.5 hours, €45)
Arguably one of the world's most photogenic cities, Barcelona provides the perfect setting for travellers to perfect their photo skills, with expert guidance on how to capture the city's striking architecture, urban street art and colourful markets. 

Egyptian Farming 101 (11 hours, €74)
Travellers can escape from the resorts of Sharm el-Sheikh or Dahab to help out on a rural farm, learn about indigenous herbs that have enabled locals to live off the land for centuries, and join their hosts for a traditional lunch made from the farm's produce.

Gnawa Music Experience, Essaouira (3 hours, €70)
With trance-like music and acrobatic dance moves, Gnawa is the heartbeat of Essaouira. Offering a behind-the-scenes look at its culture and customs, travellers are invited into a dancer's home to see him perform, meet the maalem or Master of the troupe, and visit a temple where sacred rituals are enacted.
