The buzz about 3 days Spring Tulip Fest is going to be held from 12th April onwards. It has been postponed for a week due to bad weather which generally opens in the last week of March.

(TRAVPR.COM) INDIA - April 1st, 2014 - Joint Director of Kashmir Tourism; M. H. Mir states that this year the department of tourism has earmarked production houses and directors of the film fraternity in India. To retain tourism and promotion of Kashmir, directors are welcomed to shoot and encourage the sector.  

This three days festival includes various programs like musical events and programs, water sports and paintings. Maharashtra Water Sports Association will join the event and the expertise will be provided to the youths of Kashmir.

The main venue of the event will be held at Tulip Garden, but various other activities will take place at Nishat Garden, Zabarwan Park, SKICC, Dachigam National Park and Royal spring golf course. Water sports will start from SKICC and would be followed by a dinner ceremony.

To mark the presence of the directors, a canvas will be put at Zabarwan Park where their painting would be put on display for public along with activities held at Royal Spring and Shalimar Garden.

However, invitations have been sent to many directors, production houses. Among the directors, Mahesh Bhat, Mukesh bhat, Imtiaz Ali, Puneet Malhotra, and Karan Malhotra from Dharma Production, directors like Amit Roy, Ramesh Sippy, Punjabi singer Shweta and some directors from Tamil film industry have approved their presence.
