Boston Area travelers get direct flights to Lisbon - Portugal, beginning today, from Logan International Airport.

The non-stop flight runs every Friday until October 24, and will compliment daily one-stop service in the summer to Lisbon via the Azores

Lisbon is about the size of Boston and is perched on the northern bank of the Tejo River, where the river meets the Atlantic.
