Here are a few of the highly anticipated events going on in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire this May:

New Hampshire Day at The Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, NH on Saturday, May 3rd. Trails open at 9:30am at a discounted rate for all New Hampshire Residents. Enjoy the outdoors and live animal presentations.

Opening Day at the Polar Caves, Rumney, NH. Bring your family to Polar Caves on their opening day on Saturday, May 3rd.

- Garden Series hosted by the Tarbin Gardens, Franklin, NH. Tarbin Gardens hosts a series of educational seminars about garden bulbs for spring, fall and winter.

Comic Hypnotist at Capitol Center for the Arts on Saturday, May 10th. Frank Santos Jr. mesmerizes the audience in his spectacular display of mind-bending antics.

Paper Sculpture Exhibit at the Castle in The Clouds on Saturday, May 10th. A showing of fantastical sculptures by Vermont Artist Kristian Brevik. The oversized and colorful creatures, all sculpted from paper are a sight to be seen.

Mother’s Day Weekend Craft Festival at Hampton Falls, NH will host a craft festival of over 75 juried craftsmen and women from all over New England.
