On World Environment Day on June 4, Taj Palace Hotel Dubai was involved in a series of activities at Mamzar Beach, Dubai, aimed at promoting environmental awareness and encouraging its employees to adopt best practices for conservation.

About 100 enthusiastic employees of the hotel participated in the activities which were held in collaboration with Dubai Municipality, from 8am to 10am. The hotel organised transportation, distributed T-shirts, caps and arranged food & beverages for all the participants.

Mr Ahmed Badawy, Acting General Manager of Taj Palace Hotel Dubai, said that the hotel staff are keen on making enthusiastic participation in campaigns that renew their commitment to support environment friendly policies in keeping with the world’s highest environmental standards.

“This participation is in line with our CSR efforts as it is a great way to keep renewing our pledge to reduce carbon footprint, a major requirement in improving our hotel’s performance in the EarthCheck environmental benchmarking and certification programme,” he said.
