Hotel Quinta da Marinha staff to run marathon for charity
(TRAVPR.COM) UK - June 17th, 2014 - Staff at Onyria Resorts, parent company of Great Hotels of the World member Quinta da Marinha, have organised a 260km race in support of a young staff employee recently diagnosed with Acute Myoblastic Leukemia. Rafael was a bellboy at sister hotel Onyria Marinha Hotel when he was diagnosed and is currently undergoing treatment. A number of his colleagues are running to draw attention to the disease and raise money for the Portuguese Association Against Leukemia (APCL). They will run from Cascais (Lisbon) to the Algarve, and have invited friends and well-wishers to join in a 10km race or a 4km walk before they set off. The race will take place on July 5 and will cost 10 euros to participate. To sign up to the race head to:
