THE PRIME MINISTER OF CHINA IN CRETA MARIS

The Prime Minister of China Li Keqiang and his spouse, during an official visit to our country, visited Crete from 20th to 21st of June and stayed at the hotel Creta Maris in Hersonissos.

(TRAVPR.COM) GREECE - June 23rd, 2014 - The Chinese Premier, who led a delegation of top-level political leadership of the country - including three ministers and a vice minister, met with the district commissioner, Mr. Stavros Arnaoutakis and representatives of local authorities and visited the archaeological site of Knossos and the Archeological Museum of Heraklion.

This is the first time the Prime Minister of China visited Crete. In the past Crete and Creta Maris have accommodated several important people of the political leadership of China, such as the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Li Peng, the President of the People’s Republic of China, Jiang Zemin, Vice Premier Minister, Li Langing, etc.
