BOUTIQUE HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT ASIA RENAMES TO BESPOKE HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT ASIA, INTRODUCES SERVICES TO FOCUS ON LARGER SCALE PROJECTS
Industry: Resorts

Business name change reflects the services offered by the firm, in larger scale but still a custom-made boutique service

(TRAVPR.COM) THAILAND - June 25th, 2014 - Boutique Hospitality Management Asia (BHMAsia), the Asia-Pacific hotel management, development and consulting group, has announced today that it has changed its business name to Bespoke Hospitality Management Asia (BHMAsia). The firm believes that the new name will better reflect the services it offers.

“We have decided to change our name in line with our expanding business operations, which now include: Resorts, Hotels, Villas, Apartments, Residential projects and Spas.  The name change highlights a growth in the scale of our business operations. We have talked with many property owners who are keen to deliver boutique experiences in large scale projects. BHMAsia (www.BHMAsia.com) can do this by leveraging our experience in the Boutique sector and bring it to larger 100-300 room properties. This “bespoke” type service extends us beyond boutique, whilst allowing us to retain the philosophy and approach that has made us successful in the boutique sector,” said Anthony McDonald, CEO of Bespoke Hospitality Management Asia (BHMAsia).

“We believe that this change will deliver us good business not only from within Thailand but also from other countries, a chance of great business growth with our absolute hospitality solution service. We do this in our desire to deliver a better range of services to our valued customers,” added Anthony.

BHMAsia currently manages 15 properties in Thailand, Cambodia and Australia under X2 (CrossTo), Away and Le Bayburi brands. The company is also developing Yan Spa, a luxury spa brand with a unique and contemporary vision of the Thai touch, mainly focusing in China with 5 spas in the pipeline for 2014 including two in Shanghai and one in Hainan. In the first and second quarter of 2014, there was an increase in the company’s portfolio of boutique properties, especially the Away Brand and the Villa Collection, including Away Villa Salt and Away Green Oasis in Phnom Penh, Away Nirvana, Away Paradise and Away Phucome Villa in Chiang Mai. This is a result of the company’s emphasis on these two particular businesses (Away brand and Villa Collection).

Frederic Garnier, BHMAsia’s Director of Operations and Development adds, “It has been a great success for us with our design resort brand X2 with properties in Kui Buri, Samui, Chiang Mai, Sydney, River Kwai (Kanchanaburi) and coming soon in Phuket and Hat Yai. We are now looking to take a bigger step forward, and aim for larger hotels. Our business development team will be focusing on larger projects this year and enhance our brands, especially X2, with more visibility. This year we put Bangkok as our priority, despite the previous political unrest, but we strongly believe that the business will get back to normality soon and with the AEC that will commence next year, Bangkok will become a business hub and will attract both business and leisure travelers. We are excited to bring our lifestyle and design brand X2 to Bangkok’s urban environment. Developers are more and more looking at branded products, and mixed used developments which are becoming more popular these days.”

“In a fast growing and competitive environment like Thailand, it is very important to differentiate yourself from others so BHMAsia has large range of brands and concepts, yet is very flexible, which gives traction to new hotels, and assist existing properties to stand out. Personally, for property owners looking for a management company, I think that it is important for them to work with local experts as it will ease all the hassles with all parties involved, especially in a country where the culture is very strong like Thailand. BHMAsia delivers international standard with a local touch,” enthused Frederic.

Based in Thailand, Bespoke Hospitality Management Asia is also building relationship with international players and will soon carry a few more brands under its umbrella, in order to cover all levels of the hospitality, from 5 star standardized hotels to fast growing budget hotel network.
