Industry: Travel Agents
Luxury Travel Ltd.

VIETNAM-based tour operator Luxury Travel Ltd. (www.luxurytravels.asia) goes global by adding two new representative offices.

(TRAVPR.COM) VIETNAM - June 25th, 2014 - VIETNAM-based tour operator Luxury Travel (www.luxurytravelvietnam.com) will showcase Vietnam as a new luxury destination to Portuguese and Spanish high-end travelers with the addition of two new representative offices in Brazil and Spain from this month.

Luxury Travel has appointed Connect World Brazil (www.cwbrazil.com.br), which is located in Sao Paulo, to become the company's representative in Brazil under the management of Managing Director Fernanda Correa and has also appointed Discover The World (www.discovertheworld.com ), with Managing Director Eva Bretos Cano located in Barcelona, to be the company's first sales rep in Spain.

A representative of Luxury Travel says that the goal is to promote the charm of Indochina with its exceptional experiential travel to new emerging markets to conform with the company’s diversified markets strategy. It is envisaged that Brazilians will travel to Indochina year round and Spanish travelers will take a holiday in the summer time, in the low season, traveling for 2-3 weeks and taking in the highlights in multi-country tours.

Vietnam is a new holiday destination for Latin America travelers in general and for Spain and Brazil particularly. Now, Vietnam's first luxury travel and tour company brings Vietnamese high-end tourism products closer to travel agents in these two countries. The opening of new sales representative offices in Brazil and Spain strengthens the efforts of Luxury Travel Ltd. to tap the Latin American market.

During the last two years, Luxury Travel Ltd has attended WTM Latin America, the leading global event for the Latin American travel industry, in order to find partners who want to sell unique luxury travel experiences to discerning Latin American travelers.

Last year the company appointed Bielka Representations as their sales rep in Argentina leading the market in opening up the region to the attractions of Indochina. This year, with these two new sales representatives in Brazil and Spain, the company aims to open up the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets.

Latin America is in a strong financial position at the moment and Pham Ha, CEO and Founder of Luxury Travel Ltd, stressed the importance of diversifying by participating in the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets and attending more travel fairs in Brazil and Spain, such as FITUR, with a view to establishing business partnerships with experts and tourism companies.

Indochina is an exotic destination that is attractive to a more selective class of traveler. Vietnam is becoming more and more recognized as a safe and favored destination for high-end tourists from long haul destinations.

“We see our clients from Latin America combining multiple countries in one trip and the number of group tours, private leisure FITs and special interest tailor-made toursincreasing significantly. Most of them prefer luxury tours; they expect authentic experiences in luxury travel as well as pampering, but they also want off-the-beaten-track adventures with impeccable service. We have a great Spanish and Portuguese team and superior tour guides able to provide “wow” services to the most sophisticated travelers,” says Mr Hung Nguyen, Director of Sales and Marketing of Luxury Travel Ltd.

Besides, Vietnam now has world-class hotels and resorts, stunning beaches and fine cuisine in addition to its natural beauty, rich history and traditional culture. Travelers from Latin America visiting Vietnam are looking for a more authentic experience and seek to have a deeper understanding of the country’s culture, food, history and everyday life. During the past three years, Vietnam has seen the completion of many luxurious hotels and resorts with branded names, such as Marriott, Hyatt, Intercontinental, Six Senses and Amano’I, which mark the country as a destination for high-end global travelers.

Its tourism infrastructure features a growing list of modern luxury and spa destinations, iconic colonial and boutique properties, recently opened golf courses, seaplane and helicopter flights from Hanoi to Halong Bay, and the launch of luxury yacht and river cruise services that provide a stress-free journey away from busy roads.

Vietnam is on target to receive 7.5 million international travelers in 2014/15 and has a strategy to diversify its markets after the fall in numbers of Chinese tourists following the oil rig crisis. Consequently the country is seeing an increase in the numbers of long haul travellers, including Spanish and Portuguese arrivals, according to VNAT.

Pham Ha also announced that for 2014/2015, Luxury Travel has designed a FAM trip for agents and professional travelers. This FAM trip is a great opportunity to experience Vietnam and for travel professionals to enrich their knowledge of this intriguing land and friendly people.

Agents will return home from the FAM trip fully equipped as Vietnamese travel specialists, allowing them to generate public awareness of Vietnam as a high-end holiday destination.
